Do You Need an SEO Expert?

A website needs traffic and that traffic needs to convert into leads, sales, opt-ins or downloads if it is to be considered a worthwhile business asset. Unless your target customers can find you within the top 2 or 3 search engine results pages you may as well be sticking a post-it note on a tree somewhere in the Brazilian rain forest.

If you are already aware that your website isn’t all that it could be, you might be considering employing a SEO Expert. Search engine optimisation, sometimes referred to as SEO, is a process that improves the visibility of your website by improving rankings on search engines like Google, MSN and Yahoo!  for keyword phrases related to your business. This in turn will generate more traffic to your website, but good SEO doesn’t stop there.

Why Most Small Businesses Say No to the SEO Expert

One of the most common reasons that small companies give for failing to take advantage of expert SEO help and advice is price. Yet most are losing more than the cost of SEO in missed sales and profitability over and over again. That’s profit which ultimately improves your competitor’s balance sheet.

Good SEO might is not cheap and usually requires a substantial deposit even though results may take months to achieve.  Add to this the fact that no Professional SEO will ever guarantee positions to a client and you can see why most small business owners view Search Engine Optimisation as a risky investment.

Pay For Performance SEO

The basis for Pay For Performance SEO is simple, at the beginning of any campaign the objectives are clearly defined and marked out and no payment is required until those objectives have been met.  This could represent front page rankings for your most important keyword phrases or to secure a predefined number of opt-ins to your newsletter.

Pay for Performance SEO won’t make SEO any cheaper or offer any guarantee but it does remove much of the risk element from the client’s perspective and places it fairly and squarely at the feet of the optimiser.  Where it should be!

Write articles for a better Google position.

You can quite simply obtain One-Way Backlinks to your website if you write an interesting article related to the products or services of your site. In these articles, you put up to 3 backlinks to your own site. You will get One Way Backlinks and therefore a improved ranking in search engines, especially in Google. You submit the articles to article directories. They live from advertising and need content for their readers. They are very interested in reading stuff that you provide. more..den Pagerank steigern(German)

If you deposit your article to a category which is related to the contents of your website, you receive good backlinks. Because of this it is significant to properly catalog the written articles. If you write articles to well known article directories such as Ezine.com etc. you get One Way Links with a high pagerank. These Article directories only accept very good and interesting articles.

Because of two reasons the published articles should have a “unique content”. If you obtain links from identical articles, Google would treat them as spam. Article directories are not interested in copys of old articles, they want to publish new ones. The article directories verify the articles for unique content, otherwise the article is rejected. If they find out that there are new articles which are very similar to your submitted one, they remove the links in your article. more..Backlinks bekommen mit Artikel Marketing(German)

If you want to increase your pagerank significantly you have to write a lot of articles. This can be very time consuming. Your articles must be absolutely unique if you write for the best article directories. For many other article directories, the articles may have a certain similarity. By using synonyms and by changing the sequence of the sentences or paragraphs you can create several articles from one original article. But don’t overuse the synonyms, the article should still be understandable. I found a very nice program that helps me in writing and delivering here. Viele Artikel automatisiert versenden(German)

How To Awake The Article Writer Within You

Internet marketing can be very fun, especially if you are deep into creating content like articles, Squidoo lenses, blog posts and similar stuff. This can be very fun if you are in a niche that interests you deeply and inspires you, but it can also be very boring and hard to do if you are in a niche that holds no interest for you, that you have no knowledge on and you really can’t seem to get started writing content.

This is a situation where you’ll need to figure out how to get the needed inspiration. One way to do this is by visiting the most popular blogs in that niche and seeing what kind of content is created there and what kind of a response it gets. The same goes with Squidoo lenses, articles in the major article directories and the sites that you are competing with in the search engines.

Evaluate the content that you see, write down the general questions, problems and solutions that the content goes over and see if that gives you a boost in your inspiration or not. This should get the ball rolling and you should be able to create at least a few articles and blog piosts from doing this and get some free traffic to your site.

The next thing you should definitely do is visit Yahoo Answers and try to find questions that are in some way related to your niche. Here ais where you can find actual people with real questions that you can provide answers to in a form of an article or blog post.

If you still need more, the thing to do would be to go to Google and try to find some forums related to your niche. Forums are a great place for exchanging ideas, asking questions and getting them answered. This is probably the most powerful thing for getting ideas and creative juices flowing.

Lovren Lowitzky is a prolific article writer and Squidoo lensmaster. You can get to know his work by visiting affiliate marketing programs and thyromine reviews websites to see the type of content he creates.
