How Do You Pick Which Purse Will Suit You Best?

With so many bags out there to choose from, how do you pick which will suit you best? Well, first, you have to know what’s out there.

It would be impossible to overstate how popular Rebecca Minkoff’s purses have been in Hollywood and everywhere else. If you’re into leather, check out Rebecca Minkoff’s latest offerings the beautiful crocodile-embossed Morning After Mini or the MAM that features quilted patent-leather trim and contrasting piping. For full-on patent leather, there’s a Morning After Mini in luxe, glossy black patent. Nobody could get enough of the original Morning After Mini, and now Rebecca Minkoff has added more options for your shopping pleasure.

Also for the leather lover, look into the Cole Haan Village Hobo or Tote or the B. Makowsky Black Victoria Satchel. The Rebecca Minkoff Morning After Bag Luxe has a little more room than the Mini, with all the great looks. All these bags feature classic styling and the supple leather you expect from a designer purse.

Let’s say you love leather but you prefer clutches. The Cole Haan Aerin Clutch or the Alexis Hudson Madeline Clutch are great choices. The Cammie Hill Cinch Clutch is a fun, trendy way to do white in the off-season. In shiny patent, you can pull it off. Cara Landy makes a simple black leather clutch, but metallics are still hot, and these are too fabulous to pass up. Add a splash of color to winter with a Cara Landy Navy Embossed Clutch or the Metallic Purple Clutch or stay simple with the Santi Lavender Frame Bag.

If you aren’t looking for leather, Two’s Company will have you dreaming of summer. The Two’s Company Embroidered Flower Bag or the Gingham Cosmo Bag are fun alternatives, especially if you don’t want to wait for summer and you’re headed somewhere warm. The Gingham Cosmo Bag in blue or yellow gingham makes a great carryon and comes with a convenient matching pouch for odds and ends.

For something a little smaller, a wristlet might be your cup of tea. The Big Buddha Patent Clutch/Wristlet is perfect for a night out and it’s easy to keep track of in a kicky red. You can find a full line of designer handbags at platinumtrunk.com

Coach Soho Handbags

Soho – district in Manhattan noted for its old warehouses converted into restaurants, galleries and theaters.

To name a Coach line Soho is genius! Basically put, it’s a traditional design revitalized in a way that only Coach could mime. These outstanding and stylish mini bags and accessories are a great choice for fine dining, art gazing and for placing in your lap at a theater.

The Soho is a classic because it is the best of the best by Coach. It is the fine wine of Coach Bags. It is the quality of the past that fits the styles of today. Why is this line so indispensable? Besides their Signature materials, this small purse is the stamp of a woman’s fragility, femininity, stamina, style and grace.

I have a brown Signature Coach with the soft leather trimming and brushed brass buckles, Soho. I cherish this bag. This is the purse I use on a routine basis because it fits well with almost everything in my closet. It is nice for nearly any instance, whether a trip to the market, work or an evening out, you really cannot beat a Soho.

Let’s discuss this bags quality. The Soho is so extraordinarily dependable that it can withstand my child’s calamitous little fingers. This bag did not become world renowned because it was crafted from cheap materials put together irresponsibly. It is classic because of their innovative knowhow and vintage hobo design that are certain to outlast any craze, style or fad.

The strap on my purse is small enough to be tightly held without appearing chaotic but extends enough to be exhibited on your shoulder if you need a replacement hand. My particular Soho is a zipper top handbag, but I also like the flip top style especially in tweed brown, blue and black. It is a little more ideal then my Soho because it honors the fundamental styles of early Hollywood traditions.

Coach is no dummy when it comes to understanding that old styles always come back. Today the pop culture of the 70’s and 80’s are in but Coach has put enchanting new spin on the Boom generation. Now we know that hot colors are not a color that should be worn, it is a awful. Here’s the what makes it unique, besides their Signature materials the Coach Soho also comes in twill. By definition tweed was originally called twill because it was an unfinished woolen fabric woven into a twill pattern instead of a dreary pattern. Why would you want dull? While the Soho line and hobo design is simple, it is defiantly not monotonous. Who else can design a handbag in tweed brown and make it look remarkable?

In past eras tweed was a staple because of its moisture resistance and grit but soon became dated because the assembly and price could not keep up with the ever accelerating market. So they moved to materials such as polyester and cotton. Thankfully for us Coach knows that quality is better than quantity and tweed as well as their other Signature materials will last. Maybe you haven’t acknowledged that a couch, not to be confused with Coach, made with tweed have survived the years longer than cotton or polyester. This is what makes a Coach ideal.

Whatever your desire: red, green, white, pink, brown, black, small, large, mini bags, wallets or purses, Coach has what you desire. They may be priced a little higher but truthfully you get get out what you put in. So it is pleasant to know that it will last; not just as in it will not fall apart, but last as in; Coach accessories will always be in. Whatever the fad happens to be, you know that the Soho line and hobo design will reign over the competition.

The Soho reminds me of Breakfast at Tiffany’s. Audrey Hepburn is the image of vintage style. She is the Crème del a Crème of early Hollywood traditions and premier not just by flair but by sight and grace, a picture that will last forever. Like Coach’s Soho, it is the Crème de la Crème of early styles that became a crown not just by technique but by the style and courage they bring to any woman. So an accessory won’t make you look popular but it will make you feel like one.
