Web Hosting Companies

With thousands of web hosting companies in the market it can be hard if not impossible to recognise which web site hosting companies genuinely provide an excellent hosting solution at an excellent price. When you have a domain name with a good web hosting company, you can get reports on your traffic and which of your pages your customers are visiting most often, as well as many other statistics.

Your web host will charge you a fee for each month of service that ranges anywhere from $6.99 or $9.99. Plan to pay between $75 and $150 per year to your web host.

You can try free web hosting services, but you may experience bouts of server downtimes and you’re likely to have substantial limitations in storage, number of email addresses, FTP upload and so forth.

Check out a site like HostingTopList.com that has current web host ratings of the most popular web hosting companies.

Be sure your web host can accommodate e-commerce and storefronts, blogs, forums, chats, and anything else you want to add onto your website.

Estimate what your growth needs are and check that this web host can serve you as you grow. The last thing you want to do is change host mid way unless you absolutely have to do so.

Check your bandwidth capacity to be sure that, if your website hits develops rapidly, your customers won’t have to wait to download or view info. Three things to look for in a web hosting company are:

1. First-class Customer Support: Your hosting provider ought be there for you 24/7 and give you instant access to the technicians you need to help solve your problems. Ask them how long it takes for them to respond to your problems. An effective test is to call them in the middle of the night to check if you get to a live, level of support.

2. A Sound Infrastructure: Check whether they offer a multi-homed network powered by multiple bandwidth suppliers to ensure redundancy. Some offer a 100% guarantee on its network accessibility or network uptime.

3. Financial Stability: If you’re running very critical operations, you can’t afford to be with a hosting company that may have only been in business in a few months.

If you’re are still confused by the jungle of web hosting companies, check out the current HostMonster ratings. Their my personal favorite at the moment. Good luck with all of your online adventures.

Using Resell Rights for Your Benefit

Utilizing Resell Rights as a way of making money is gaining in popularity. This is only one of the numerous new methods in internet marketing that can be used for your benefit. The main thing is utilizing Resell Rights for Your own benefit. Let me explain how this is done:

More than likely you have already decided upon a niche market you feel comfortable with. The increasing popularity of ebooks, as well as other digital products makes the idea of having Resell Rights to at least one digital product is very appealing. It’s not only from the fact that you can make money from the resale of these products, but also from the fact that they can add additional appeal to your business. People love to learn new stuff, and what better way to make your current customers happy than by giving them an ebook or other digital product on a subject that you already know they want more information on.

If you’re new to internet marketing you should look into Resell Rights as an option. Information products sell quickly in just about every business. And even if it isn’t the most reliable market research method, finding out about the most popular ebooks will give you an idea for the existing demand in the market in question. As you do this, you will also become familiar with what kinds of products are available in your area.

There are a variety of ways you can benefit from Resell Rights. Initially, you can make a profit by selling the product, and even the resell rights if you own them (some even wants you to offer private label rights). This works very well for most individuals, especially if you have gained access to a great product.

The next way having Resell Rights can benefit you is by helping you in establishing your business name with your customers. If you can provide useful products full of information to your customers, they will start seeing you as an expert in your field. If you give them the right to give your ebooks and digital products to their friends, the will even help you spread the word!

Lastly, reselling products can be a business in itself. Although there is definitely a lot of competition in this area, there is still a profit to be had. Keep in mind, however, that quality must come first. The competition in reselling digital items is fierce (to say the least), but you can definitely earn a name for yourself if you can offer a quality product.

Just remember – if you do nothing – you get nothing!

Seeking Your Success,

Beijing 2008 Olympic Medal Totals

It will be very interesting to see which countries win the most medals at this Olympic games in China. It is the U.S.A and China who are normally at the top of the table in recent times, and with the event taking place on China’s home soil they may just have an advantage this year. At the last Olympic games in Athens 2004, a total of 929 medals were awarded to team members from 75 different countries, what is interesting is how these medals were distributed both in those Olympics and throughout Olympic history. This blog is your 2008 Olympics Ticket.

In Athens over half of these 929 medals were distributed among the top 8 countries in the tally, producing a really concentrated effect on the tally table. The Olympic medal tally has always been concentrated to a degree with the United States being by far the biggest medal winners over the years. Throughout Olympic history, the United States team has won almost 2200 medals with 900 of them being gold. This is a really impressive effort when you see that this number more than doubles the closest competition in both the gold and overall categories.

However this is slowly changing as other successful sporting nations are rising to the challenge. Since the first Olympiad in 1896 both the number of medals and the number of different countries winning medals has been slowly increasing. What is really interesting when trying to predict the outcome of this years Summer Olympics 2008 is when we factor in the home team advantage into the equation. A study after the Sydney games in 2000 showed that of the 17 countries who had hosted the Olympic games up until that point, 14 of them had won their greatest percentage of medals at the games that they hosted.

This home advantage if looked at through the lens of history should mean that China will do very well at these Olympic games at the Beijing 2008 Stadium, whether they can beat the United States will only be seen in time. Although there is a random factor to the data, it shows that the home team does on average have more medals and a greater mix of medals at the Olympic games that they host. The Olympic medal tally should reflect this and with China both hosting the games and rising in sporting prowess, it should make for a very interesting Olympic tally in 2008.
